Beauty | Nails | The Winter Collection

Share

Today I'm gonna be doing a little run through of my nail varnishes - there aren't that many so no need to panic! I'm not an overly massive collector of nail varnishes as I usually don't have the time or energy to apply, wait for it to set then wait for it to dry.  I do have a few products that speed up the drying time, but they seem to not have worked well for me, unless I've been using them wrong or not left them long enough. Realistically, my nail varnish safety net are the ones that dry in 60 seconds because they are hassle free! But let's have a look what I've got anyway incase you fancy a new look and want inspiration or you're just a tad nosey like me and want to see what other people own.

Brands I own: Primark, Rimmel, Art Deco, Topshop, Orly, Barry M, Nails Inc, Avon, L.A Colors, Emily the Strange, Star Gazer, Technic and NV.

I recieved a lot of these varnishes as presents, some are on the cheap side and others are on the pricey side. Nails Inc, Art Deco and Orly are a little bit more expensive than the rest on the list, however, they are good for your money because they last. I would say the same about the Rimmel varnishes as well and they're on the cheaper side for less than £5!

I'd have to say, out of the ones that I own, my favourite day to day varnish is from Nail Inc. The shade is called Covent Garden Ballet, which I think is just a beautiful name and the colour is perfect for everyday activities as it's subtle with a matte like tint of colour. This nail varnish is £11 from the Nails Inc website. My favourite night time varnish is the Rimmel I Love Lasting Finish in the shade 239 - Your Majesty. This is such a gorgeous silver colour and it pretty much goes with any outfit, it doesn't have too much of a sparkle to it, more of a strong shimmer but it looks amazing, especially with some dark black smokey eye make up for a night out clubbing (just an idea). This Rimmel nail varnish is £2.99 from the Boots website.

These two colours are perfect for the upcoming Winter season as they aren't too neutral but at the same time, not too shocking. If you want to shock this Winter with a fierce nail colour, why not try the Art Deco Ceramic Nail Lacquer in the shade 139 - Impervious Blue, the price is £7.50 and free delivery from the Beautybay website.

I hope I've been a big help with deciding what colours you should buy and try! Don't be afraid to go out of your comfort zone either, personally, I think any nail colour suits any skin tone and if you don't like it at the end of the day? You can just take it off, brilliant!

Thanks for stopping by everyone and I'll see you next time!
